Program Support Managers are responsible for:

  • Responsible for managing and coordinating program support activities - related to contract compliance and administration, obtaining required licenses and certifications, IMPACT enrollment and coordinating special planning and analyses related to projects such as startups and close outs
  • Develops and implements systems and procedures necessary for monitoring and enforcing contract compliance.
  • Works collaboratively with business units and other departments to review new and existing contracts, renewals and amendments; acts as the project manager for organizing and coordinating program changes, new programs and program closures. Coordinates activities related to establishing initial service codes and associated rates for treatment services and subsequent annual reviews.
  • Disseminates information to responsible parties related to contract terms, deliverables and/or payor rules regarding defining valid and billable services, managing provisions, documenting services, and configuring and billing for services, and so forth.
  • Negotiates contract revisions with payers, including rates, and acts as liaison for the purpose of collaboration and or problem resolution with payers
  • Coordinates, monitors and submits required monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
  • Has a working knowledge of DARTS, IL DHS, IMPACT, CRV and GATA websites and portals.
  • Coordinates the preparation and submission of contract required financial and program reports.
  • Provides support to the Corporate Compliance Officer and Privacy Officer related to regulatory compliance and participates in compliance investigations and audits. Works with Community Operations to prepare license and Medicaid Certificate applications and revise licenses as appropriate
  • Coordinates activities related to obtaining National Provider Identifier (NPI) numbers for Gateway programs; and enrolls programs in Healthcare Family and Services (HFS) Medicaid IMPACT portal.
  • Coordinates external auditor activities for the A-133 review of program sites; distributes and monitors Audit confirmation to payers, collects funder information regarding the type of funds allocated in their agreements with Gateway
  • Assists with annual financial audit

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Public or Business Administration, or related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of contract and program administration, management theories and principles and applicable laws and regulations
  • Project management skills necessary to coordinate the large number of tasks associated with program start-ups and closures; and the ability to develop scopes of work and project plans as well as the ability to monitor progress.
  • Ability to communicate with others in person or by telephone in order to gather and exchange information.
  • Ability to proofread, check and verify data and information from printed form and computer monitor display.
